What this is

A formal complaint to the WSBA Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) about an attorney who you believe violated the Rules of Professional Conduct. We review communications, court records, transcripts, and other documentation, then draft a complaint citing specific RPCs with an exhibits index supporting each allegation.

This applies to opposing counsel who you believe misrepresented facts to the court, harassed you as a pro se litigant, or otherwise violated the RPCs. It also applies to your own former or current attorney where there are conduct or competence concerns (fee disputes go through a different WSBA process).

This is priced deliberately high because the work is document-intensive and the writing has to be precise. Vague complaints about an attorney being "aggressive" get dismissed. Specific, factual, RPC-citing complaints get reviewed. We do the second kind.

Important: We draft the complaint. We do not file it (you do), and we cannot guarantee any outcome. The WSBA reviews complaints through its own independent process. Most complaints result in no formal action. The value of a strong complaint is the formal record, not a guaranteed result.

Why this matters for your case
The WSBA Office of Disciplinary Counsel receives thousands of complaints a year. Most are dismissed at intake because they describe an attorney being unpleasant rather than alleging specific conduct that violates a specific Rule of Professional Conduct. A complaint that names the RPC, cites the rule, points to the specific incident, and indexes the supporting evidence is in a much smaller category. That is the kind we draft.

What happens after you buy

  1. You complete a detailed intake (60-90 minutes)
After checkout, fill out a thorough intake describing each incident with the attorney, dates, and the impact on your case. Upload all supporting records: emails, court filings, transcripts, communications. The more thorough, the stronger the complaint.
  2. We review your records and draft (21 business days)
We review every document you uploaded, identify the applicable Rules of Professional Conduct, and draft your complaint with specific citations and an exhibits index. Your Navigator personally reviews before delivery.
  3. You review, request corrections, then file with the WSBA
One round of corrections is included. The delivery includes filing instructions for the WSBA Office of Disciplinary Counsel. You submit the complaint yourself. The WSBA reviews independently and decides whether to investigate.
